A compact two-contact charging cable without a standing dock

This baseless Rose Toy charger uses a small two-contact head connected to a USB-A cable. It is intended for a compatible charging surface where a standing base is unnecessary, including suitable side-mounted contacts. The cable gives you a direct connection while the toy rests securely on a dry surface.

Choose both the contact material and the fixed spacing before ordering. The available spacing options are 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 mm. These are separate connector sizes, not an adjustable range built into one head. The magnetic version is listed with opposite magnetic poles; the Iron option is a different contact-material selection.

White USB-A cable and compact two-contact head. The product has no round standing dock; match the selected head to your device’s charging surface.

Choose the spacing by measuring between centers

Measure from the center of one charging contact to the center of the other, using the original charger or the device’s documented connection dimensions. Do not measure only the empty gap between the contacts. The gallery’s 6 mm example also labels a 9 mm outer span; that does not make it the 9 mm spacing option.

The illustrated 6 mm version shows 6 mm between contact centers and 9 mm across the outer edges. This is a measurement example, not the dimensions of every spacing option.

After measuring, select the matching Spacing value above. A head that is too wide or too narrow will not correctly meet both contacts. Do not bend the contacts, stretch the head or choose the nearest size when the correct measurement is uncertain. Ask RoseZoe support to review your model details and a clear photo before ordering an uncertain replacement.

Iron and Magnetic are different selections

The Material selector refers to the charger’s contact option. Choose the version specified for your device and original lead. The magnetic version is described as opposite-pole, meaning its two magnetic contacts have different magnetic poles. This describes magnetic alignment, not permission to reverse the electrical connection.

Magnetic attraction alone does not confirm electrical compatibility. The contact type, polarity, charging requirements and head shape must all match the device. Do not assume the Iron and Magnetic options are interchangeable. If the original cable is missing or the polarity is unknown, confirm the exact model’s replacement requirements rather than experimenting with a powered connection.

Connect and charge with the correct setup

  1. Turn the toy off and keep the charging surface, head and USB plug dry.
  2. Inspect the cable and contacts for damage. With USB power disconnected, align the confirmed matching head without forcing or twisting it.
  3. Place the device on a stable surface and leave enough cable slack to prevent sideways tension.
  4. Connect the USB-A plug to a power source that meets the device manufacturer’s instructions, then check its normal charging indicator.
  5. Disconnect power before repositioning the head or checking a connection that does not respond.

The approximately 80 cm lead allows a little distance between the USB port and the device. A USB-C-only port will not directly accept the USB-A plug. The cable does not add fast charging or change a toy’s battery capacity; use the charging time and indicator guidance for the exact device.

Care and troubleshooting

Unplug by holding the housing instead of pulling the wire. Store the cable loosely coiled in a dry place and keep exposed contacts away from loose metal objects. Do not use a damaged lead or continue charging if the connection becomes unusually hot. Avoid charging while the device is wet.

If the toy does not charge, first check that the selected spacing and contact type match the original specification. Review the Rose Toy charging troubleshooting guide or contact support. A replacement cable will not correct every battery or internal charging problem.

Frequently asked questions

Can I adjust one cable from 5 mm to 10 mm?

No. Choose one fixed spacing from the available options. This model is different from a separate-head adjustable cable.

Do all the pictures show my selected size?

No. The dimension images show a 6 mm example. Use the Spacing selector and your device’s measurements to choose the correct version.

Will a magnetic connection work with any two contacts?

No. Contact spacing, material, magnetic arrangement and electrical requirements must match. A similar-looking head is not proof of compatibility.

What if I need a standing base?

Compare the 12 mm magnetic charging dock or browse the Rose Toy charger collection. Those formats have separate requirements.
